Ludhiana – 2nd Youth festival of Guru Angad Dev Veterinary &Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana started today with fine arts events. Dr. Satinder Pal Singh Sangha, Director Student welfare inaugurated the youth festivals. He said that youth festivals are appropriate medium of internal expression of students. We are providing good facilities to students to improve their performance. Participants are also in high spirits. Dr. Darshan Singh Aulakh organizing secretary of festival said that morning session was inaugurated by Dr. Kulbir singh sandhu Director of Extension Education. In this session collage making competition was held. Total 9 students participated among them 5 were girls and 4 boys. The afternoon session of cartoon making was inaugurated by Dr. SarNarinder Singh Randhawa. In this competition 9 students 3 girls and 6 boys participated. In both competitions three colleges of university participated alongwith affiliated college, Khalsa College of Veterniary and Animal Sciences Amritsar. Dr. Meera D. Ansal convener of fine arts committe said that fine arts competition will commence from 7th to 9th October. The results of all competitions will be on final day of youth festival. Tomorrow’s competitions will be of on the spot painting and poster making.
