Amritsar, ( Bharat Sandesh ) – The Department of Commerce and Business Management of the Guru Nanak Dev University in collaboration with the Securities and Exchange Board of India, (SEBI) oraganized a seminar on ‘Financial Education and Financial Planning’.
Mr. Jainenddra Shandilya, Assistant General Manager, Investigation Department, SEBI was the chief guest. Dr. Subhash Chander, Coordinator of the Seminar welcomed the chief guest and introduced him to the audience.
Mr. Shandilya discussed comprehensively the various investment related matters ranging from history, governing laws and regulations of the capital market, procedural formalities, participative members, various asset classes and essentials of a sound investment decision.
The audience took active part in the interactive and emphatic lecture and put on record positive feedback for the educative endeavor of the department and the teachings and deliberations of the speaker. The seminar was attended by faculty members, research scholars and students who were kept glued to the investing wisdom spread by the speaker.
