J&K KABADDI REFEREES ENROLLED ON THE PANEL OF REFEREES BOARD OF AKFI

Jammu: President of Jammu & Kashmir Amateur Kabaddi Association Anil Gupta (Anu) told that the Referee’s Board has enrolled J&K Kabaddi Referee’s on the panel of Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India. The names of the candidates of our state who have qualified the All India Referee’s Examination are as under: Mr. Rakesh Kumar Sharma, Mr. Ankush Chib (J&K Police Deptt.), Mr. Ashok Sharma (Udhampur Distt.), Mr. Basarat Ali Khan (Poonch District), Mr. Gulzar Ahmed (Kathua Distt.), Mr. G.M. Ganai  (Pulwama District), Mr. A.R. Paddar (Anantnag District), Mr. Mohd. Shafi (Ganderwal District), Mr. Fayaz Ahmed Wani, Mr. Jangir Mir and Mr. Khajar Mohd. (Baramulla Distt.), S. Bhupinder Singh Tirthi, Mr. Ajay Gupta, Mr. Anil Gupta, Mr. Anil Salathia, Mr. Neter Prakash & Mr. Mohd. Shafi (Srinagar Distt) Now they are eligible to officiate in National Championships, Inter-College, Inter University, Police Games and other departmental Kabaddi Championships being played under the rules of Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India.

Mr. Gupta said that now our State has eighteen qualified Referees on the panel of All India Referee’s Board and two International Referees namely; Mr. Dinesh Gupta and Mr. Kuldeep Kumar Gupta who are eligible to officiate in International Championships and have also been enrolled on the panel of federation.

In the last, Mr. Anil Gupta (Anu) further said that Referee’s of our state assocaition will also work hard in their own districts to improve the standards, of the officiating and would give latest tips to the other officials and Senior Players of their districts. Mr. Gupta also appreciated the role of qualified officials for taking keen interest in “Swadeshi Game – Kabaddi and also assured that the association will honoured them with prestigious award.
