Amritsar – The University taken serious note of reports in the print media that Dr. G.S. Bhalla, Department of Commerce and Business Management has been dismissed. In a press release, the University has clarified that in the meeting of the Syndicate held on September 27, it was unanimously decided to issue a ‘Show Cause Notice’ to Dr. G.S. Bhalla for his not responding to Charge Sheet issued to him earlier.
The press release further said that the ‘Show Cause Notice’ is yet to be issued. Any decision whether he can be dismissed or not will be taken only after his response to the ‘Show Cause Notice’. The decision of the Guru Nanak Dev University Teachers’ Association (GNDUTA) to protest against the University is without any cause.
