LUDHIANA – PAU Kisan Club in their monthly training programme held at Dr. Borlaug Wheat Auditorium of Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana today welcomed the decision of the Union Government for granting approval for the establishment of Dr. Borlaug Institute South Asian Centre in Punjab. The Kisan Club President, Mr. P.P.S.Pangli said that the establishment of this premier institute in Punjab would greatly boost wheat research in this region. Club members also expressed their gratitude to Dr. M.S.Swaminathan who played a key-role for selecting Punjab as the host state for this institute.
