Ludhiana – 2nd Youth festival of Guru Angad Dev Veterinary &Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana today witnessed on the spot painting and poster making competitions. Both the competitions held at different sessions. Dr. Satinder Pal Singh Sangha, Director Student welfare said that youth festivals are the relaxed moments from the busy and heavy schedule of studies, so students are enjoying with full zeal. Dr. Darshan Singh Aulakh organizing secretary of festival said that in morning session On The Spot Painting competition was held. Total 10 students participated among them 05 were girls and 05 boys. The afternoon session was of Poster Making. In this competition 10 students 04 girls and 06. boys participated. In both competitions three colleges of university participated alongwith School of Animal Biotechnology. GADVASU affiliated college, Khalsa College of Veterniary and Animal Sciences Amritsar also participated in both the competition.. Dr. Meera D. Ansal convener of fine arts committee said that fine arts competition will commence up to 9th October. The results of all competitions will be on final day of youth festival. Tomorrow’s competitions will be of Clay Modeling and Rangoli Making. It is pertinent to mention that Vet. Varsity had won all India inter agri fine arts trophy two times.
