ASHOK AGGARWAL APPOINTED AS NEW ADVOCATE GENERAL PUNJAB

CHANDIGARH –  Consequent upon the acceptance of the resignation of Advocate General Punjab Mr. Baldev Singh by the Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Parkash Singh Badal, the Punjab government today appointed Mr. Ashok Aggarwal as the new Advocate General in place of Mr. Baldev Singh.        Disclosing this here today a spokesperson of the Punjab Government said that the formal orders with regard to the appointment of Mr. Ashok Aggarwal as Advocate General would be issued shortly. It may be recalled that Mr. Aggarwal also remained the Advocate General of Haryana besides Standing Council to Government of India for long time and Special Standing Council to Union Territory of Chandigarh for over decade-and-half.  Mr. Aggarwal is the youngest lawyer to be designated as Senior Advocate by the Punjab & Haryana High Court.
