Ludhiana – The brain storming and fun frolic event were exhibited today in the Vet. Varsity Youth Festival. The day was of Debate, Elocution, Extempore, Quiz, Poetic Recitation and Haas Ras Poetry.
Dr. Darshan Singh Aulakh organizing secretary of festival said that in morning session Debate, Elocution, Extempore competition was held. Total 10 students participated among them 5 were girls and 5 boys. The topic for Debate was “Whether the Development of any society causes deterioration or not”, .Elocution topic was “we are living Robotic life”.
The afternoon session was of Quiz, Poetic Recitation and Haas Ras Poetry. S. Kuldeep singh, Additional Commissioner, Municipal Corporation was chief guest of the session. In these competitions three colleges of university participated alongwith School of Animal Biotechnology. GADVASU affiliated college, Khalsa College of Veterniary and Animal Sciences Amritsar also participated in both the competition.
Dr. P. N. Dwivedi convener of literary items committee said that events of this category have been completed. The results of all competitions will be on final day of youth festival. Tomorrow’s competitions will be of Creative writing and Photography. The venue of these events will be Seminar Hall, Silver Jubilee Block, Ground floor GADVASU.
