Ludhiana – Vet. Varsity Youth festival’s events of today were dedicated to creation on paper through words and art objects through camera. The competitions were of ‘Creative Writing’ and ‘Photography’.
Dr. Satinder Pal Singh Sangha DSW inaugurated today’s session. Dr. Darshan Singh Aulakh organizing secretary of festival said that the day was of Photography and Creative Writing competitions. 10 students in each competition were participated. Among them in Photography there was 01 girl and 09 boys whereas in Creative Writing 04 boys and 06 girls participated. Topics for Photography were ‘Best of GADVASU’,’Face in the crowd’ and ‘Contrast’. The topics for creative writing was ‘Relation of human and tree’, ‘Corruption in Politics’ and ‘If i have been god’. In these competitions three colleges of university participated alongwith School of Animal Biotechnology. GADVASU affiliated college, Khalsa College of Veterniary and Animal Sciences Amritsar also participated in both the competition.
Dr. Aulakh organizing secretary said that tomorrow the spectators will witness a colorful and eventful procession of the students. The procession will start from college of Veterinary Science to reach at open air theater of PAU for the main inauguration of youth festival. Dr. V.K. Taneja Vice Chancellor of GADVASU will inaugurate the youth festival. Tomorrow’s competitions will be of Folk Songs (Solo), Creative Dance (Solo), Light Vocal (Solo), Group Songs (Indian), Group Songs (Patriotic). The venue of these events will be open air theater PAU.
