Amritsar – Dr. Narpinder Singh, Dean (Faculty of Applied Sciences) and Professor in the Department of Food Science and Technology of the Guru Nanak Dev University has been elected Fellow of The National Academy of Sciences, India (NASI).
He has already been elected Fellow of Indian National Science Academy (INSA) and National Academy of Agricultural Sciences (NAAS) for his outstanding research. He has also many awards to his credit such as Rafi Ahmed Kidwai Award of Indian Council of Agricultural Research and JC. Bose National Fellowship of Department of Science and Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology. He is being inducted as Fellow of NASI in the 81th Annual Session of the Academy to be held in the University of Kerala, Kariavattom, Thiruvananthapuram.
