A news item relating to release of grant of Children Education Assistance and Reimbursement of Tuition Fee (Education Allowance) to All India Services Officers in the State has appeared in a section of the Press today, which is incorrect and contrary to the ground realities. This was stated by a Spokesman of the Government here today.
The Spokesman clarified that there was no such proposal with the Government for grant of Children Education Assistance and Reimbursement of Tuition Fee (Education Allowance) to any category of the employees and no decision in this regard has so far been taken by the State Government. He said that whenever any such decision will be taken by the State Government, it would be applicable to all categories of employees and not limited to a specific category. He said that the State Government had always been considerate towards the genuine demands of its employees and had provided financial benefits worth thousands of crores of rupees during last 45 months.
