All India Karate Do Federation (AIKF) appoints Sh. Anil Gupta Honorary Vice President keeping in view his outstanding contributions for promotion of sports activities in J&K. Sh. Anil Gupta is having the honour of presently being President Universal Maritial Arts Academy, President J&K Amateur Kabbadi Association, Chairman Organising Committee of Board of Development for Sports in India (BDSI), which is going to organize marathon in City of Jammu on Nov. 13th, 2011.
Sh. Anil Gupta has been inducted into AIKF formely by Karate S. Thiagarajan President AIKF in New Delhi today. AIKF is body governing and promoting the activities of Karate arts in India. It is recognised by Ministry of Sports Government of India, Indian Olympic association and member association of Asian Karate Federation and World Karate Federation.
While appreciating the contributions of Sh. Anil Gupta towards sports Sh. S Thiagarajan Presdent AIKF said that “ It is honour to appoint Sh. Anil Gupta as Vice President AIKF and We hope our organisation will become much better with the support and guidance of Sh. Anil Gupta. Sh. Anil Gupta is also presently Chairman Jammu Kashmir Democratic Front (JKDF), a Socio Political organisation working for the welfare of people in Jammu.
