Chief Minister Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal said here today that Himachal Pradesh has won the CNBC AWAAZ Travel Award 2011. These Awards have been given in the categories of Consumer & Trade Category-Best State To Travel in India, Consumer Category-Best Mountain Hill Destination: Shimla and Jury Category-Emerging Trends/Hot New Trends: Innovative work done in Eco Tourism –Ecosphere Spiti, Himachal Pradesh.
These Travel Awards will be given on 17th November, 2011 in New Delhi according to Smt. Manisha Nanda, Principal Secretary, Tourism.
Travel & Tour Operators, Hoteliers, Service Providers, the Department of Tourism and all concerned responsible for providing good services in infrastructure, hospitality, travel & food, maintaining the destinations and for keeping the brand of ‘Unforgettable Himachal’ deserve appreciation for it, Smt. Manisha Nanda, added.
