PEOPLE OF PUNJAB ARE READY TO DECIMATE CONGRESS FROM ELECTORAL SCENE IN COMING VIDHAN SABHA ELECTIONS — HARSIMRAT

Bathinda – Member Parliament Mrs. Harsimrat Kaur Badal today described hard drubbing of Congress in Hissar Lok Sabha by-election is mere a trailer as people of Punjab were itching their hands to decimate this anti Punjab Party from electoral Scene in coming Vidhan Sabha Elections in the State.
Addressing a series of public gatherings during her day long Sangat Darshan Programmes in various parts of Bathinda, she said that people of the country have fed up from non stop corruption and unprecedented inflation unleashed by the Congress led UPA Government and they have made up their mind to get rid of this most corrupt regime of the world.
Describing the results of recent by elections in four states where Congress stands no where as an indication for complete pack up of Congress incoming general assembly elections in five states in the beginning of next year. She said that which hunting of team Anna members shows the desperation of Congress led UPA regime. She said that on one side the unprecedented price rise deprived of a common man even from "Daal Roti" and on other side ever increasing agri inputs have made the economic condition of peasantry pitiable. She said that no significant increase in minimum support price of some major crops like wheat and paddy further shows the bad intention of this UPA Government which was hell bent to squeeze the already suffering farming community.  
Earlier, the Member Parliament distributed equipment of one gymnasium for each 50 wards along with grants for various development works. During Sangat Darshan Programmes she also listened to the problems being faced by the citizens and directed the concerned officers to do the needful. She also visited the Dengue effected areas of the city and directed health as well as local bodies authorities to take necessary action.
Prominent amongst others who were present on the occasion Mr. Sarup Chand Singla, Mayor Mr. Baljit Singh Birbehman, besides senior civil and police officials.
