Amritsar – Police DAV Public School won the overall trophy whereas Khalsa College Public School remained the runner-up in the two-day long Sahodaya Inter School Football Tournament that concluded today at Khalsa College Public School ground. An interesting match was seen between the lads of Police DAV and Khalsa School which had entered the final after defeating their respective league matches.
The winner teams were given the prizes at a colourful function presided over by Director Sports, Guru Nanak Dev University, Dr. Kanwaljit Singh. The sixteen teams from various Central Board of School Education (CBSE) schools are participating in the tournament. School Principal, Dr. Saravjit Brar welcomed the guest while President, Sahodaya School Complex Head, Dharam Veer Singh thanked the school for hosting the tournament.
