DOPE TEST FOR 12 PLAYERS AT GURDASPUR SAMPLES SENT TO DELHI

GURDASPUR/CHANDIGARH, NOVEMBER 5 – The anti doping agencies have taken samples of 12 players of six Kabaddi teams at Gurdaspur during Pool-B matches, which have been sent to National Doping Control Laboratory, Delhi for examination of doping.
            An official spokesman said that the agencies have randomly chosen two players of each team including Norway, Spain, Italy, Argentina, United States of America and Pakistan and took their samples for dope test. He said that immediate after end of matches these players were taken directly to Doping Control Station constructed inside the Government College of Sports, where team of NADA took their samples. He said that earlier at Faridkot too samples of 12 players had been taken, which have been already under examination at Delhi.
