Shri J.P. Dange, Chairman, State Finance Commission, Maharashtra held a meeting with the Chairman and Member Secretary of State Finance Commission (SFC) Himachal Pradesh for discussing the methodology being adopted in Himachal Pradesh for working out the resource gaps in the PRIs and Urban Local Bodies. The Chairman, SFC, Maharashtra appreciated the methodology adopted by State Finance Commission, Himachal Pradesh. In Himachal Pradesh, the resource gaps are being assessed through study of income and expenditure of the PRIs and ULBs through complete survey.
The Chairman, SFC Maharashtra invited the SFC, Himachal Pradesh for mutual visits to Maharashtra to study the working of the State Finance Commission, PRIs and ULBs.
