SCS TO CONDUCT RJ HUNT, ‘Chota RJ’ ON THE OCCASION OF CHILDRENS’ DAY

On the occasion of Children’s Day, i.e., on 14th November 2011, School of Communication Studies, Panjab University, begins the hunt for the "Chota RJ" for  Panjab University’s very own community radio 91.2 Jyotirgamaya. The department takes an initiative to groom a certain number of students from the Bapu Dhaam Colony for a period of 15 days. Three students have already been shortlisted out of which the one of them will be announced as the first ever "Chota RJ" of PU community radio. The event shall take place on 14th November from 11 am to 11.30 am at School of Communication Studies. The students from the Bapu Dhaam Colony with the support of the NGO, Yuvsatta, also take out a newspaper called "Jugnu". School of Communication Studies therefore aims at providing these students an opportunity of being heard.
