First joint album of Lakhwinder Wadli & Wadali Brothers

November 26, 2011 : For the first time Wadali Brothers have teamed up with Lakhwinder Wadali to bring out a brand new album ‘Naina De Buhe’. The uniqueness of this album would be a fusion of sufi and Punjabi music, which is an outcome of the joint venture of Puranchand Wadali & Pyarelal Wadali with Lakhwinder Wadali.
Addressing the mediapersons, Wadali Brothers and Lakhwinder said the music has been given by Tiger Style UK and Jatinder Jeetu and the lyrics are by Sanjeev Anand Ji, RP Deewana Ji, Jaswant Baaz, SDM Ram Singh,  Sarvarinder Singh Canada. An album by Speed Records has photography by Harjinder Singh Canada with video directors Kameshwari Productions India and NN Films USA. There are in all nine tracks in the album and the soul-stirring title track ‘Naina De Buhe’ has been written by RP Deewana of " Tu Maane Ya Na Maane Dildara" fame which he write for Wadali Brothers. The video track ‘Mai Ta Pinni Hei’ is by Sanjeev Anand Ji from Delhi, who has written many songs for Wadali Brothers, Daler Mehandi, Ghulam Ali from Pakistan, Mikka Singh, Hans Raj Hand and many more living legends in the music industry.
Explaining the track details, they said Tere Ishq Nachaya Kar Thaiya Thaiya has been written by traditional Baba Bulle Shah Ji, track Churi by Sarvarinder Singh Canada, while Jugni Kehbdi Hei is a traditional number. Naina De Buhe is a creation of R.P. Deewana, while Ishq Nai Darda Maut Kaulu is the traditional song by Baba Bulle Shah. Sanwal Rangiye is a wonderful composition of Jaswant Baaz, while an interesting number Fashion is a work of Sardar Ram Singh. The other two songs are Waghe Di Laqeer by Jaswant Baaz and Mai Taa Pinni Hei by Sanjeev Anand Ji.
The Wadali Brothers are sufi singers and musicians who were born into the fifth generation of musicians given to singing the messages of Sufi saints, the Wadali brothers dabbled in the most unexpected of professions before they became Sufi singers. The Wadali Brothers sing in the gurbani, kaafi, ghazal and bhajan genres of music. On the other hand Lakhwinder Wadali hails from the family of illustrious musicians. His father Thakur Dass Wadali was a renowned vocalist. Interestingly his father and uncle formed the most celebrated qawwali duo, the Wadali Brothers. Wadali Brothers and Lakhwinder Wadali have also performed together for the first time in Lodhi Club.
