NOBEL PEACE PRIZE SHOULD BE BESTOWED ON BADAL FOR HIS HUMANITARIAN DEEDS: TIKSHAN SUD

CHANDIGARH, NOVEMBER 26:  The Local Bodies and Industries Minister Mr. Tikshan Sud today demanded ‘Nobel Peace Prize’ for the Chief Minister of Punjab Mr. Parakash Singh Badal for his constant efforts for the welfare of humanity, integrity and world peace throughout his political career.
Mr. Sud emphasized that welfare of mankind was the soul of entire political career of Mr. Badal for the last five decades and he selflessly fought for the well-being of humanity despite so many hurdles. He said that during the emergency imposed by Congress in 1975, Mr. Badal had spent a long time of his life in jails to protect the human rights and interests of people. He was the only person, who spent longer time in jails for public interests after Mr. Nelson Mandela, former President of South Africa. He said that Mr. Badal has done unparallel efforts to maintain communal harmony amongst all religions including Hindu and Sikhs.
Mr. Sud said that it was the result of restless efforts and visionary approach of Mr. Badal that 8th wonder of the world Virasat-E-Khalsa was dedicated to humanity at Sri Anandpur Sahib yesterday. He said that the historic congregation on the inaugural function of Virasat-E-Khalsa, a gigantic project depicting history and culture right from Guru Nanak to Guru Gobind Singh’s Khalsa Raj, has given a message of world peace and religious unity in presence of five head priests of Sikh Takhts, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Bapu Asa Ram along with heads of various religions and castes.
Mr. Sud demanded from Nobel Peace Prize Committee to honour Mr. Badal with Nobel Peace Prize for the year 2012 for his all above efforts.
