CHANDIGARH, NOVEMBER 28: The Punjab Government has decided to enhance conveyance allowance to Inspectors, Sub Inspectors, Assistant Sub Inspectors, Head Constables and Constables in Punjab Police.
According to an official spokesperson, now the Inspectors would now be entitled for Rs 600, Sub Inspectors Rs 550, Assistant Sub Inspectors Rs 500 and Head Constables Rs 450 while Constables would be entitled for Rs 400 per month. He said that the orders would come into force with effect from December 1, 2011.
PUNJAB GOVERNMENT REVISES PAY SCALES OF GRAM SEWAKS/SEWIKAS
CHANDIGARH, NOVEMBER 28: The Punjab Government has revised the pay scales of Gram Sewaks/Gram Sewikas with effect from December 1, 2011.
An official spokesman said that Gram Sewaks and Gram Sewikas would be entitled for a pay band of Rs 10300-34800 with grade pay of Rs 3200. He said that now the gram sewaks/sewikas would get the initial pay of Rs 13500 in place of Rs 7810.
