Kabaddi trials for Junior NATIONAL Postponed

Jammu, November 30: The General Secretary of Jammu & Kashmir Amateur Kabaddi Association Mr. Kuldeep Kumar Gupta said that the trial for the forth coming  Junior National for Boys & Girls has been postponed due to JAMMU BANDH, call announced by Chamber of Commerce & Industry. Now the trial date has been re-fixed from 2nd December to 4th Dec. 2011 for their participation in the Junior National Kabaddi Championship for Boys & Girls going to be held at Vadodara, Gujarat from 27th Dec to 30th Dec 2011.
All the affiliated units/districts/clubs of the association are requested to direct their registered players to report at Green Field Gandhi Nagar on 2nd Dec. at 3:00 p.m. to District Secretary Dinesh Gupta Jammu District Kabaddi Association and
Mr. Ankush Gupta, Mr. Ajay Gupta, Mr. Anil Sharma & Mr. Dheeraj Jamwal Kabaddi Coaches along-with letters duly signed by their concerned District Secretary/Presidents.
All the interested players of the Tehsil level, District level and others who are registered with their own district associations are only requested to participate in the trials of selection to be conducted at Green Field Gandhi Nagar from 2nd to 4th Dec. 2011 at 3:00 p.m. alongwith original date of birth certificates.
The eligibilities of age for Junior Boys & Girls should be below 20 years and born on or after 01-01-1992 and weight 65 kg for Boys and 60 kg for Girls and below as per Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India guidelines for the player.
Mr. Anil Gupta President of the association said as per the new rules the Players should furnish original date of birth certificate from the Institution. The date of birth and photograph of participating player should be attested and verified by the Head Master/Principal. The original date of birth certificate shall only be accepted in the Trial/National Championship.
Mr. Gupta further said Random verification of the age certificate produced by the players from the Institutions will be conducted by the Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India from the concerned institutions. If any Player found guilty the concerned player will be debarred for a period of three years from the same year. Achieved position will also effected and the association has to return the medals and certificates issued to the players.
