CHANDIGARH, DECEMBER 1 :Punjab Small Industrial Export Corporation today provided major relief to the industrial plot holders of different focal points with liberalized the procedure for allowing mortgage of industrial plots as 2nd charge with Banks/financial institutions.
Disclosing this here today Mr. Tikshan Sud, Local Government, Industries & Commerce Minister said that with a view to mitigate the long pending grievances of the allottees, PSIEC shall henceforth allow its allottees permission to mortgage their plot as 2nd charge and/or change of Bank/financial institutions (where permission already stand granted for 2nd charge) on receipt of up to date dues as applicable pending payment of component of enhanced land cost. By allowing this relaxation, allottees would be able to raise funds from financial institutions to meet their liability and carry out their day to day operations.
