Amritsar, December 7, 2011: The students of Khalsa College of Physical Education, Heir, have earned laurels for the college by winning 2nd place in women’s Artistic Gymnastic Inter-College championship held recently at Guru Nanak Dev University. The College student Monika won five medals and was declared all-round champion in women category. She won gold medals in vaulting table and uneven bar and silver in floor exercise and balancing beam. College Principal, Dr. Jaswinder Singh Dhillon congratulated the winners and motivated them to do more hard work to reach newer heights in the field of sports.
