Shimla, December 08 : Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal, Chief Minister, today released the 31st Edition of ‘Sushruta’, college magazine of Indira Gandhi Medical College, here today.
Chief Minister congratulated the students of IGMC for bringing out an impressive edition of the college magazine which reflect various activities of the college during the preceding academic session. He said that publications brought out by different educational institutions provide its students appropriate platform to express their feelings and polish their creativity, which was necessary for over all personality development of the students. He said that IGMC had been bringing out its college magazine regularly providing students a platform to express their creativity. He said that although medical students were hard pressed under their studies but the write-ups published in the magazine had provided them opportunity to exhibit their flair for writing as well. He underlined the need to incorporate material relating to medical profession which could be helpful in providing guidance to the budding medical professionals in their future endeavours.
Dr. S.S.Kaushal, Principal of IGMC, Dr. S.L.Kaushik, Advisor of the Magazine, Dr. Arjun Malhotra and Dr. Manish Thakur were present on the occasion.
