MOGA RALLY TO BE THE LAST NAIL IN THE COFFIN OF CONGRESS PARTY IN PUNJAB: SUKHBIR

KILLI CHAHAL (MOGA), DECEMBER 09: Moga Rally would prove to be the last nail in the coffin of Congress Party in Punjab indicating the beginning of victory march of SAD-BJP combine that would receive affection, love and support of people of Punjab for next 25 years.
            This was stated by President Shiromani Akali Dal and Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal, who was here today to review the arrangements of party’s ‘Maha Rally’ at Killi Chahal scheduled for December 18, said that SAD-BJP combine was confident that electorate of Punjab would put their stamp on the development agenda of coalition and bring back this government for next 5 years. He said that he was here to review the arrangements for the ‘ Maha Rally’ so that no discomfort was faced by the Party Cadre attending the rally or there was no problem general public in surrounding area due to Maha Rally. He said that a big chunk of 250 acres of land has been identified for rally out of which 130 acres would be used for parking of vehicles of supporters and remaining 120 acres would be utilized for Maha Vikas Rally and providing langar facilities to the party cadre.
            The SAD president said that the rally would showcase the development accomplished by the SAD-BJP government besides projecting development agenda for the next term. He said that the slogan of the rally would be ‘kam kita kam karange, pehlan vee kita, pher vee karange’.
            Mr.Badal said that for the first time minute details were being worked out for this Maha Vikas Rally. He said that over 2000 trucks, 5000 buses and 5000 cars would bring the supporters from all over the state and each driver of the vehicle moving from the starting point would be given route plan, parking area allocated to that vehicle and specific location earmarked for the parking of that numbered vehicle.
            Mr. Badal minutely reviewed each and every arrangement for the rally and asked the party office bearer to ensure that flow of traffic to and from the rally should be smooth and there should be no problem to the general public. Mr. Badal went around various routes and identified the probable routes to be earmarked for the rally.
            Prominent amongst those present on the occasion were Mr.Janmeja Singh Sekhon, Irrigation Minister, Mr. Sital Singh Dharamkot, Chief Parliamentary Secretary,  Nidharak Brar, Vice President SAD and Mr. Tirath Singh Mahla, President SAD district unit.
