Chandigarh December 9:- On the assurance given by the Punjab Chief Minister’s Media Advisor Mr. Harcharn Bains to the PCMS doctors association for the quick implementation of their demands, the president of the association Dr. Manjit Singh Randhawa announced to withdraw their dharna (sit-on) today here in sector-34, Chandigarh.
According to a spokesperson of the Chief Minister’s Dr. Randhawa thanked the Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Parkash Singh Badal for deputing his Media Advisor for giving assurance for the prompt implementation of their long pending genuine demands on his behalf.
Mr. Bains reiterated government’s commitment for the welfare of all sections of its employees and said all the demands of the PCMS association would be implemented in letter and spirit at the earliest.
