Shimla, December 13 : Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal, Chief Minister, assured the HP State Contractual Agriculture Extension Officers Association of sympathetic consideration of all their genuine demands. The Association met the Chief Minister under the leadership of Shri Randhir Sharma, MLA and accompanied by Shri Rattan Thakur, President, Shri Kuldeep Sharma, Shri Praveen Gautam, Shri Ajay, Shri Shailender, and Shri Pradeep and other office bearers and presented a draft of Rs. 21,000 as contribution towards the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, here today.
Chief Minister thanked the Association for the contribution made towards the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund which would go a long way in facilitating the poor and needy in their hour of distress. He said that contribution thus received was being disbursed to people in emergent situations. He appealed to the people to come forward with their liberal donations so that more people could be extended financial help.
Prof. Dhumal said that the State Government had been considerate towards the genuine demands of the employees and had provided them financial and promotional benefits, due to them from time to time. He said that sympathetic view would also be taken of the demands of the agriculture extension officers.
