Amritsar, 20 December -Indian National Trust For Art and Cultural Heritage(INTACH) Amirtsar Chapter organized a visit to Heritage Places Surrounding Amritsar .Coordinator of school Heritage Clubs Mr.Amrit Mannan told ,in this tour 75 students from Spring Dale Public School, Police line D.A.V public school, Ram Ashram Public School, S.L.Bhavan’s Public school and Harkrishan Public school Golden Avenue along with their teachers participated .INTACH Co-Convener Hira Singh told students about the Heritage importance different sites on route, Which include Shiv Mandir at Kassel,Sarai Amant Khan ,Pul Mooran(Pul Kanjri)and Preet Nagar. At Preet Nagar S.Hirdapal singh Son of S.Gurbaksh Singh Preet Lare gave the brief history of Preet Nagar ,how it came into existence. Its pitty that the dream of Gurbaksh singh could not be fulfilled in totality but he showed the way to the world that the people can live together inspite of having different religious or cultural backgrounds .Students shared the traditional food items at the lawns of Preet Nagar Auditorium.
