Chandigarh, December 21: PSIEC today conducted draw of allotment of Industrial Plots UNDER GENERAL SCHEME in focal points Bathinda, Amritsar, Mandi Gobindgarh, Chanalon, Hoshiarpur, Ludhiana, DeraBassi, Tanda, TaranTaran & Sangrur at Kissan Bhawan in Chandigarh in full public view with the objective of providing quick availability of land at the affordable price. 145 plots of different sizes have been allotted to the applicants for setting up their enterprises.
The draw of plots was conducted under the supervision of Committee headed by Shri S.S.Channy, IAS Principal Secretary Industries & Commerce Government of Punjab in a fair and transparent manner duly videographed. Shri Rajinder Mohan Singh Chinna Chairman PSIEC, Shri Sukhwinder Singh Grewal, Vice Chairman PSIEC & Shri M.P. Arora IAS MD PSIEC were also present.
Shri Channy expressed that after closing of scheme during October 2011, Punjab Govt/PSIEC have successfully finalized the process of allotment and accomplished the task within a span of 2 months. He further informed that allotment letters to the successful applicants would be issued shortly. The successful applicants are required to deposit 30% price of plot within 30 days of the allotment and balance 60% in 6 half yearly installments along with interest as per policy.
