SALE OF NEW YEAR GREETNG CARDS BEGINS AT PAU

LUDHIANA, DECEMBER 22:-The Centre for Communication and International Linkages (CCIL) of the Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) has designed and brought out four “New Year Greeting Cards,” informed Dr Jagtar Singh Dhiman, Additional Director of Communication, here today. Conveying the message of the “Golden Jubilee Celebrations” of PAU in 2012, the cards depict the mammoth gathering of the farmers at PAU Kisan Melas, their attachment to their soil, the evolution and development of Punjab’s farming and rural life and the charms of ancient Punjab. He told that the cards, with the floral and agrarian designs, symbolize beautification of the environment with multitude varieties of flowers and speak volumes of PAU’s contribution in heralding green revolution in India and making country self-sufficient on food front. Dr Dhiman informed that each card costs Rs 5 and is available at the Sale Counter of CCIL.
