Chandigarh: 23 Dec 11: Major General Mohabat Singh Virk (Additional Director General) of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh NCC visited the National Integration Camp (NIC) today at Bishop Cotton School, Shimla being organised from 13-24 Dec 2011. On his arrival, the General Officer was given the Guard of Honour by the NCC cadets before he addressed the 500 NCC cadets and officers of the NCC. Maj General Mohabat Singh Virk expressed his deep satisfaction in the manner the camp has been conducted by NCC Group Shimla and wished all NCC cadets the best of luck for their board exams in March / April 2012. He also expressed his gratitude to Mr Roy Robinson, the Headmaster of Bishop Cotton School for extending all out support for conduct of this national NCC activity at this prestigious school. The General Officer was thankful to the media for rendering their profound support in coverage of this event.
Towards the end, the NCC cadets from all over India presented a colourful cultural display leaving an indelible mark of cultural exchange showing the spirit of UNITED INDIA and with a message of Solidarity. Theme of the camp was ‘Yeh Mera India – Watan Mera India’.
