CHANDIGARH, DECEMBER 24: The Punjab Governor and Administrator, Chandigarh, Mr. Shivraj V. Patil extended his greetings to the people of Punjab and Chandigarh, on the joyous occasion of Christmas, the birthday of Jesus Christ. In a message, on the eve of Christmas, Mr. Patil said that India has shown the rest of the world how to live in peace and harmony, despite its multi-lingual and multi-cultural identity. The Governor hoped that such occasions would help in strengthening the bonds of universal brotherhood and communal harmony besides inspiring the people to dedicate themselves in the services of the mankind to carve out a happy and prosperous society.
