Amritsar, December 26 -The 38th Annual Convocation of the Guru Nanak Dev University would be held on February 01 in the Dasmesh Auditorium of the University here while the rehearsal would be organized on January 31at 10.00 a.m. at the same venue.
Stating this, Dr. Inderjit Singh, Registrar said that all students of Ph.D, M.Phil and first three position holders of all other examinations would be awarded their degrees on this occasion.
Two eminent personalities-Mr. N.R. Narayana Murthy, Chairman-Emeritus, Infosys Technologies Limited, Electronics City, Bangalore and Mr. Kartar Singh Duggal, an eminent Punjabi writer, New Delhi would also be honoured with Honoris Causa degrees on this occasion in recognition of their contribution in their respective fields, he added.
