Amritsar, January 4, 2012 : Harmanpreet Kaur, a student of Khalsa College Girls Senior Secondary School has brought laurels for the school by bagging the Best Performer Award in a singing contest “Awaz Punjab Di” organized by a private TV Channel (MH ONE). School Principal, Tejinder Kaur Bindra said that Harmanpreet has a melodious voice and she has won various folk music competitions in the state and at the national level in the past four years. She congratulated her for this achievement and said that she won the title after her commendable performance in the pre-quarter final and quarter-final around in which more than 30 participants had taken part. Now she will take part in the semi-final round of the programme.
