SHIMLA 6 January 2012 : Smt. Urmila Singh, Governor, Himachal Pradesh would preside over the State-level Republic Day function on 26th January, 2012 at Ridge Maidan, Shimla.
Chief Minister Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal and Education Minister Shri Ishwar Dass Dhiman would also attend the State level function at Shimla.
Shri Tulsi Ram, Speaker, H.P. Vidhan Sabha would preside over District-level function at Chamba, Shri Gulab Singh Thakur, Public Works Minister at Dharamsala in Kangra district, Shri Ravinder Singh Ravi, Irrigation and Public Health Minister at Hamirpur, Shri Kishan Kapoor, Industries Minister at Reckong-Peo in Kinnaur district, Shri Narender Bragta, Horticulture Minister at Kullu, Shri Ramesh Dhawala, Food and Civil Supplies Minister at Bilaspur and Dr. Rajeev Bindal, Health Minister at Nahan in Sirmaur district.
Smt. Sarveen Chaudhary, Social Justice and Empowerment Minister would preside over the District-level function at Mandi, Shri Jai Ram Thakur, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister at Una and Shri Mahender Singh Thakur, Transport Minister at Solan.
Shri Rikhi Ram Kaundal, Deputy Speaker, H.P. Vidhan Sabha would preside over the Republic Day function at Keylong in Lahaul-Spiti district.
Shri Satpal Singh Satti, Chief Parliamentary Secretary, MPP and Power and Shri Virender Kanwar, Chief Parliamentary Secretary, PWD would attend the function at Una with Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister. Shri Sukh Ram Chaudhary, Chief Parliamentary Secretary, Agriculture would attend the function at Nahan with Health Minister.
