21 The Gurkul Students friendship delegation left for Dubai

Panchkula, January 12; Today a 21 member students friendship delegation of The Gurukul, Panchkula left for five days Dubai visit, on an educational exchange programme with The Indian High School of Dubai. Led by Sanjay Thareja, Chairman, The Gurukul, and Yuvsatta Coordinator Pramod Sharma they intend to launch an ‘Indo-UAE Youth Friendship Forum’ during this visit.
Explaining the programme Rajni Thareja, Director, The Gurukul shared that when ordinary people of any age travel outside their comfort zones as international students, their “us vs. them” mentality will likely change into a multicultural respect for others, resulting in a stronger worldwide coalition of friendship, understanding and goodwill.
Besides meeting and interacting with local students they’ll be visiting the world’s tallest building Burj Khalifa, the famous 7 star Hotel Bburj Khalifa, world’s largest dancing fountain, Dubai Mall-the biggest shopping mall, Dubai Aquarium, Museum, Dow cruise, Desert Safari & underwater Zoo.
