Amritsar, January 12- The Global Punjabi Society (GPS), New Delhi awarded the GPS achiever award to Prof. A.S. Brar, Vice-Chancellor of the Guru Nanak Dev University.
Marshal of the Air Force Arjan Singh presented this award to Prof. Brar in a special ceremony held at New Delhi. Sardar Iqbal Singh, Governor, Pondicherry and Mr. Bishan Singh Bedi, Cricket were also present on this occasion.
It is pertinence to say that this Society was launched by the Union Minister of State for External Affairs in New Delhi with the aim to celebrate the very spirit of Punjab, Punjabi and Punjabiyat and achievements of Punjabis in particular.
