Foundation stone of LDWSS laid

SHIMLA 18 January 2012 : Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal, Chief Minister today performed foundation stone laying ceremony of Rs. 5.18 crore Lift Drinking Water Supply Scheme to the partially covered habitations of Amann, Katochi and Ser Mehal in district Hamirpur at Baloh village today.
        The ambitious Scheme will benefit a population of about 10 thousand habitants of 35 villages in the area which would be getting a minimum of 70 litres of water per person per day on completion of the scheme.
        Earlier CM also dedicated the new building of Ayurvedic Hospital at Baloh completed at a cost of Rs. 14 lakh, to the residents of the area. He said that 48 ayurvedic health institutions  in the district were catering to the health care of the people.  He said that construction work on  22 new hospital buildings in the district was in progress.  He reiterated the resolve of the State to revive the traditional ayurvedic system of medicines in the State .
