Amritsar, January 27, 2012 : In order to create awareness among the students and staff of the college regarding the use and safety measures to be taken while dealing with Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) used in domestic chores. College Principal, Dr. Sukhbir Kaur Mahal said that the talk was organized by the Department of Home Science on the topic ‘Gas Saving and Safety’ today. She said that Mr. BS Rataul from Jagdev Gas Agency, Amritsar delivered the lecture along with Mr. Dalip Kumar Meena, Sales Manager Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited who was also the Chief Guest.
They provided valuable and practical tips regarding the use of LPG displaying a drill regarding the safety of the use of gas and saving the gas also. In the end of the talk, a quiz related to use and safety of LPG was also organised. Winners were awarded with appreciation awards by Dr. Mahal.
