CHANDIGARH FEBRUARY 13: In a sheer delightful experience, the Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Parkash Singh Badal today undertook his maiden journey on Delhi Metro from Central Secretariat to Patel Chowk at New Delhi.
Disclosing this here today a spokesperson of the Punjab government said that Mr. Badal hailed the Delhi Metro ‘as an engineering marvel’ that enabled lakhs of commuters to travel in the busy national capital from one place to another daily in a hassle free manner.
Mr. Badal said he had traveled in several Metros across the world but the Delhi Metro was probably the best at par with the international standards especially in view of its aura, comfort and credibility beyond any comparison.
Mr. Badal was accompanied by his Special Principal Secretary Mr. KJS Cheema and Principal Resident Commissioner Punjab Bhawan Mr. K.Siva Parsad.
