COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURE TO HOLD CONVOCATION ON MARCH 1

LUDHIANA, FEBRUARY 17: The Convocation and Prize Distribution function of the College of Agriculture, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), will be held on March 1 in the Pal Auditorium of the varsity. Mr P.K. Basu, Secretary to Government of India, Ministry of Agriculture, New Delhi, will be the chief guest while Dr Baldev Singh Dhillon, PAU Vice-Chancellor, will preside over the function.
Giving details, Dr D.S. Cheema, Dean, College of Agriculture, PAU, said that a total of 266 degrees in B.Sc. Agriculture (Hons.), 13 B.Ed, 41 Merit Certificates, seven Gold Medals/medals and 27 prizes (for academic excellence) will be awarded to the students passed out during the years 2009-11. He informed that the rehearsal for the convocation will take place on February 29 at 2.00 p.m. in the Pal Auditorium.
Meanwhile, a Flower Show dedicated to Dr. M.S.Randhawa, will be organized on March 1.
