Amritsar, : The General Orientation Course – 87 inaugurated in the UGC-Academic Staff College. This course was organized by the Academic Staff College of the Guru Nanank Dev University.
Dr. Rajinderjit Kaur Pawar, Dean, Academic Affairs Welfare of the University was the chief guest on this occasion. Dr. Satish Verma, Director of the ASC welcomed the chief guest. More than 24 teachers from Universities and colleges are participating. This course would be concluded on March 15.
Dr. Pawar while addressing the participants said that UGC established Academic Staff Colleges in order to trained teachers to impart quality education. She said that our education system needed to be more practical. She said that the need of hour is to impart quality education to our young generation keeping in view the global requirements.
