Amritsar 21st February 2012 : The students of Department of Commerce and Business Administration brought laurels for BBK DAV by exibiting excellent performance in various competitions in National Management Fest "Le Melange 2012" hosted by Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar on 17-18 Feb, 2012. Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra told that the students showcased their excellent management aptitude by competing with more than 500 students from 34 eminent business schools from as many as 11 states of India.
Ms. Harpreet Dusanjh and Ms. Deepika Vig, faculty members of Commerce who lead the team stressed that participation in such fests helps the students to broaden their horizons, to understand management practices and to develop their overall personalities. Whereas, Sukhmani Kaur won First prize in "Essay Writing Competition", Nishtha Mehra, Preetika, Khyati Jaida and Amandeep Kaur won 2nd Prize in "Creative Marketing", Nishtha Mehra won 2nd Prize in "Panel Discussion", Nishtha Mehra and Khusboo Bansal won 2nd Prize in "Logo Design", Smriti Mahendru, Surbhi Arora and Japneet Khurana won 2nd Prize in "Business Quiz" and Japneet Khurana and Surbhi Arora also won 2nd Prize in "Debate Comepetition". The team also won Cash Prizes worth Rs.8500.
