Amritsar, February 25, 2012 : The prestigious Khalsa for Women (KCW) will host a University Grants Commission (UGC)-sponsored two day national seminar on `Parvasi Hindi Sahitya aur Sahityakar’ on February 27-28 at the campus. Being organized by Department of Hindi, KCW, the seminar will bring together academicians, researchers and scholars to discuss writings and new trends in the national language abroad, said KCW Principal, Dr. Sukhbir Kaur Mahal. She said that Hindi writers have served the language in a big way in North America, Europe and Middle East and they wanted to organize the national seminar to recognize and debate their writings and discuss the new developments taking place in Hindi.
Dr. Om Awasthi, former Head, Department of Hindi, GNDU, Dr. Neelam Saraf, Head Department of Hindi, Jammu University and Dr.Chanchal Bala from KCW will read their papers along with many others, informed Dr. Mahal who said Khalsa College Governing Council Honourary Secretary S.Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina will be the chief guest at the seminar.
