Three students of GNDU Regional Campus, Sathiala topped in various classes

Amritsar, May 10(     (Bharatsandesh news):     )- Ms. Maninder Kaur from B.Tech., Electronics & Communication Engineering; Mr. Ankit Sharma from B.Tech. Computer Science & Engineering and Ms. Tripat Arora from MBA Courses topped among the students studying at Guru Nanak Dev University Regional Campus, Sathiala by securing 9.43, 8.0 and 9.0 grade points average respectively in the first Semester during academic session 2011-12.
Prof. G.S. Virk, Director of the Regional Campus said that the Guru Nanak Dev University has recently established this Regional Campus at Sathiala to promote interest of the students toward professional courses of this region. He said that the Regional Campus is well equipped with all infrastructure required for professional courses. 
He said that the Vice Chancellor, Prof. A.S. Brar is putting all efforts to bring this Campus at par with already established Regional Campuses at Jalandhar & Gurdaspur. He said that this Campus is equipped with ultra modern facilities viz. laboratories, classrooms, internet, multimedia projectors, auditoria, hostels and play grounds along with experienced teaching staff.
Prof. Virk further said that Sri Guru Teg Bahadur College, Sathiala is also running under the Regional Campus wherein the students are studying in undergraduate classes viz. BA, B.Sc. (Non Medical & Computer Science), B.Com. (Professional & Regular) and BCA.
He said that this Regional Campus is functioning with the zeal to uplift the standards of educationally deprieved students by providing them high quality and low expenditure education.
