PUNJAB SC COMMISSION COMES TO THE AIDE OF PUNJABIS STRUCK HOLLAND

·      Writes a letter to National SC Commission to intervene in all such cases
CHANDIGARH, MAY 15: The Punjab State Commission for Scheduled Castes has taken the cause of Indian, especially Punjabis, struck abroad with the National Commission for Scheduled Castes.
 Taking up a case of district Jalandhar based Mr. Amarjit Singh, who went Holland for the livelihood of his family, but couldn’t return, the State Commission urged to the National Commission to intervene and facilitate the easy arrival of all such Punjabis, who incidentally struck abroad.
          Mr. Rajesh Bagha, Chairman, Punjab State Commission for Scheduled Castes said that after receiving a complaint of Mrs Inderdeep Kaur W/O Mr. Amarjit Singh, Village Chachowal, P.O. Daduwal, Jalandhar, they have forwarded it to the National Commission for necessary action and to have dialogue with Holland Government. He said that according to plaint Mr. Amarjit Singh has gone Holland in the search of employment in 2002. His Passport and other necessary documents misplaced somewhere, lack of these now he is unable to return. Mr. Bagha said that we had written to National Commission for Scheduled Castes for pressurize Indian Government to developing communication with its counterpart Holland Government for the safe arrival of Mr. Amarjit Singh and others.
