Chandigarh, May 16 : The Punjab Government today promoted Dr Naresh Kumar IPS, Ram Singh IPS and S.S.Srivastava IPS as Inspector General of Police in the pay
band -4 of 37400-67000+ grade pay 10000 with effect from 01.01.2012. Meanwhile 1994 batch IPS officers on central deputation namely Parveen kumar Sinha , B.Chandra Shekhar, Amardeep Singh Rai, Nirja Varuvaru and Anita Punj have been granted performa in the rank of Inspector General of Police with effect from 01.01.2012 .
Besides that The Punjab Government has posted Mr Jatinder Jain IPS as IGP/intelligence and counter intelligence, Bathinda. In a separate orders S.Bhupati, Nilambri Jagadale vijay , Bikrampal Singh Bhatti and Rahul S (all IPS) have also been promoted in the senior time scale pay band-3 (15600-39100+6600 Grade pay) by the The
