CHANDIGARH, MAY 17: The Education Minister, Punjab Mr. Sikander Singh Maluka today issued instructions for all the employees of the department to complete work within stipulated time period. He also exhorted the employees to work with full diligence, dedication and devotion.
In a communiqué to the press, He said that it has been noticed that officers keep the work in abeyance without any justifiable reason, which resulted in the harassment to the concerned person. Mr. Maluka has also instructed that all the officers must mention date and time on the file, before putting up his/her signature on the file. He said that any officer found guilty for the delay of official work, would be severely dealt with.
Mr. Maluka said that the capacity buildings workshops of the officers and employees have been conducted in order to increase the pace and swiftness of official work. He has also ordered the officers to be objective, just and transparent in their dealing with the public, so that democratic ethics and tradition could be strengthened.
