Chandigarh May 17:- In order to bring perfection in the government offices of the state and to acquaint the officials with the latest technical know how, the Punjab Government has made office training mandatory for the Clerks, Junior Assistants and Senior Assistants of the State Government Departments. An order in this regard had been issued here today.
Disclosing this here today, a spokesman of the Punjab Government said that it would also be mandatory for every official to attend 80% lectures during training period. The spokesman urged all the departments to send a lists of employees to the General Administration Department so that training arrangement could be made well in time. Those officials who have already been imparted training could also join the training programme to make their knowledge advanced.
The spokesman further said that strict administrative action would be taken against those officials who would be hesitate to attend the training programmes.
